Overview

Located on 900 Westmoreland Ave in Los Angeles, SAY'S Raspados stands out as a vibrant juice shop known for its authentic and refreshing offerings. This family-owned business has deep roots in the community, having started from humble beginnings with the owner selling raspados from a wooden cart throughout the neighborhood. Now settled into a welcoming space, SAY'S Raspados continues to delight locals with its handcrafted syrups and naturally flavored treats.

The highlight of their menu includes traditional Mexican-style raspados, where finely shaved ice is drenched in their signature house-made syrups bursting with fresh, real fruit flavors. Alongside these icy delights, their esquites—a classic corn snack rich with creamy, tangy toppings—adds a savory option that perfectly complements the sweeter choices. For those seeking something indulgent, the banana split and snow cone serve as nostalgic, crowd-pleasing favorites, blending vibrant textures and tastes that evoke summer memories.

Customer experiences consistently praise the genuine quality and warmth found here. The owner’s dedication to crafting syrups by hand creates an unmatched taste that keeps patrons coming back. The shop’s atmosphere feels friendly and inviting, making it a great spot for families and anyone looking to cool down with a refreshing treat. The lengthy summer hours ensure they’re readily available when the heat calls for something cold.

Beyond just the flavors, SAY'S Raspados fosters a sense of tradition and community in Los Angeles, bridging past and present through each order served. Their option to enjoy delicious ice cream, likely made fresh on-site, adds to the charm. Plus, small snacks like chips with nacho cheese round out the offering, making it a well-rounded stop for a quick snack or a light summer meal.

Accessible by phone at +1 213-259-9245, SAY'S Raspados remains a beloved gem that continues to grow its audience while honoring its heritage. It’s a beacon for those who appreciate authentic, natural tastes and the personal touch of a business built on passion and community connection.

I love this place! I would eat these, like a different person said, when the guy who now owns this store would sell the raspados by the neighborhood. He makes the syrups for the raspados and they always taste amazing! I'm very happy he has his own business and I hope a lot of more people get to enjoy these delicious raspados!

Best place to get raspados!! All the flavors are made with real fruit, all natural. They also have ice cream, which is delicious. It almost tastes like they make it in house as well. They also have other little snacks like chips with nacho cheese. I highly recommend this place!

Love his Raspado's. If you're looking for something authentic and not complicated, this is the perfect place to go. It's definitely a better alternative from street vendors whom you simply cannot trust. Here you get what you like at the same price with the guarantee that it's clean and nothing gross was done to it.

This guy is the OG!! He started from the ground up as a street vendor and built his clientele. He posted up shop in the same neighborhood he started. Best spot for Mexican antojitos!! You cannot leave without buying a Raspado! 10/10
